Common faults with the 850? 850

OK, for a little less hysteria:
Avoid the rear main leak, manage the oil trap system significant repair costs
Look for the upgraded evaporator on the AC, engine bay lines are marked with blue (?) paint, costly repair
No ABS light, though this control can be rebuilt easily if it goes bad
PNP switch can cause tranny misbehavior, not difficult to replace
Have a look at the CV boots, all four
If you do 240 t-belts, the 850 is no problem with an IPD tool or two
Power from these cars will surpass the B21FT-IC and the B230FT significantly. Lots of these cars are running around with high miles. Our 850T5-auto and S70T5-manual are cuising at 100K with no problems.
