blower motor fan cage removal 850

O.k. I replaced my blower motor with one from a junkyard and now the junkyard one is making noise. I intend to buy a brand new part this time but to save money I would like to buy just the motor. I have removed the screw and exricated the motor from the housing but I have no idea how to remove the fan cage from the motor shaft. Can anyone help? Also, there are tiny pins on the fan blades. Are these to balance the rotation of the fan?
