COOLANT LEAK 850 1996

Hi guys,

Last week, I had to refill my expension tank for the first time since I own the car. Now, I found a puddle of coolant underneath the engine and I'm trying to locate the source of the leak but I cannot exactly see it.

I removed the timing belt cover to check out the water pump, everything is totally dry in there. I removed the splashgard underneath the radiator, everything is dry in there too. I checked all hoses and clamps and everything is fine.

I found some little coolant drops under the oil pan & under the oil filter and it seems to come from 2 places on the front block behind the starter and behind the A/C compressor but I cannot locate from where the leak is coming from because of the intake manifold in the way.

Does anyone have an idea? Head gasket may be? cracked block ? yuck

My 850 is a '96 N/A with "only" 94K on the clock

Thanks mucho
