'new' '94 850 turbo 850

I just purcased a 1994 850 turbo for my son. After driving it home 600 miles from WV, my son and I began the process of making it ours, oil change, tune up, radio code, cleaning, etc. I do most of the work on my family fleet of cars (three of which are volvos). I have never owned a turbo before so I am not sure exactly how it works or what mechanical considerations must be made. I hear tell of an oil cooler. Where is it? And must I drain that separately at oil change time? Should it be cleaned? The book says 5.6 quarts plus .90 quart (for the turbo) = 6.5 quarts is that right?
Thanks,
John
