Looking at a 2000 V70 V70-XC70 2000

Since my sister-in-law is gettig a new one, she has offered to sell me her 2000 V70 with 85k . It's been dealer maintained, and is in good shape, though it smells like her lab. I have a 99 V70 with 100k and intend to keep both, at least for a while. My 99 has had the ignition reprogrammed through the factory recall. Does the 2000 suffer the same problems and is it covered in the recall and extended warranty?
Am I crazy to buy another of these, or brilliant for staying in the fold? Is one better than the other? What should I look out for on both of these cars? Price is $7000. Thanks.
