Front Suspension Knocks V70-XC70 2000

Hi Guys,

I'd thought I'd open this on a forum before changing all parts on the front suspension on my new car.

My last car an 850(220,000 miles) benefitted in a big way from new wishbones and antirollbar link rods. The replacement of the wishbones reduced the amount of tyre wear whilst the link rods reduced suspension knocks this I did at 180,000 miles - should have done it at 120,000 miles - live and learn!!

I'm chasing a small knock on the front of my car. I have replaced one of the link rods on my new car but still have a little knock on the nearside. I left questioning the bottom ball joint or the damper. I don't seem to be able to generate any play in the ball joint but that doesn't mean its not there!

Any one else experience any issues similar!

Many Thanks
