Odometer stopped, Speedometer works, is it that tiny gear? 850 1996

Probably a 2-3 hour job so cost depends on how much your indy shop charges per hour. Volvo cost for the gear I believe is around $50 !!! Others have asked about getting the mileage from the computer and I believe the answer was "can't be done" but I could be wrong. Other internet sources sell a gear for around $25 plus $8 shipping. You may be able to get a RC car motor gear to match at a hobby store for a few dollars. You will have to cut it down a bit but you then may end up with a spare?
