Power Seatback no longer moving 850 1996

I had a similar problem with my 94. The seat recline motor is in the seat back and is connected to the gear by a cable. In my case, the cable had retracted out of the gear mechanism. I had to fix this several times before I finally clamped a washer to the gear end of the cable to keep it from retracting into the cable housing. You have to remove the seat to take off the seat back.
