XC70 Text Message V70-XC70 2003

I went to start my car today and it would not start. No sound at all. A message showed up in the information text message area something to the effect of: "engine restart, try again". I tried again. No luck. I went in the house and got the other key to try again. Same message. I did not write the message down because I expected to see it listed in the owner's manual. It was not. I then went back outside (5 minutes later or so), tried again and the car started fine. Tried the 2nd key and started fine as well. I did errands without incident.

Stuff like this makes me nervous. Has anyone else had this problem? The keys were NOT stored next to each other. Thanks for any insight.
