Heater Hose Fitting 850

Well I finally replaced the ac evap this past weekend. Got down to one can of 134 every 10 days. It's been hot here in SoCal and boy, the wife was really on my case about that one!!! Everything went ok except the horn doesn't work but I think it's just how I screwed the airbag back in. I'll check that today. But what I'm interested in is how do you get those darn heater hoses out!! I end up replaceing the evap with the climate unit in the car which definitely not the best way to do it. What's the trick or do you need a "special tool" like for the ac lines??
