Considering S70. Reliable? S70

sweetz86,

I've had a '98 S70GLT that's covered almost 90K miles.

Great car but it requires meticulous maintenance. If you can't do the work yourself, or find a reasonably priced indy mechanic, you should expect to pay plenty at the dealership for service.

If keeping your car in pristine condition is important to you then you will be replacing/repairing bits and pieces as it ages.

To the non-volvophile, the styling of the car looks pretty much like the styling of Volvos for the past 20 or so years (up to the S60/80).

Volvos are not known for their reliability, they are known for their longevity.

It's a quality Euro ride, but it's no Mercedes or BMW.

Good luck,
Bryan
