ignition cylinder V70-XC70 2002

Thanks for the info on the amount of force and your original post. I was able to sprayed some WD40 in mine and than forced it. It popped past the #1 postion, after that it has worked just fine. I figure that it must of been one of the pins in the lock cylinder was stuck, with the WD 40 and the little extra force it did the trick. I tried switching the key on and off a number of times and it's as smooth as silk. Let me know what the Volvo dealer says. Thanks Ketch
