Well, you did it. I am totally stumped. You could go to an Autozone or Pepboys and have them try one of their hand scanners, free. Of course, you will have to pull out the "coin" holder so they can find the port.
Have them check it at rest and again with the engine started and the CEL on.

Some of my ports also glow red and I don't know why. I always wonder if there is a short somewhere.
