Thanks for the update on the visit to the Volvo dealer. I know that they make a special lube for locks, I've seen it at the hardware stores. Perhaps it would be a good idea to pick some up. But I was glad to hear that the dealer used WD40 since it was what I had used on mine. Thanks again for the update
