Brake fluid loss 850

Hey all,

Wife had and emergency stop the other day. She thought she ruined the tranny because she said when she slammed on the brakes they shuttered! I told her no you didn't it was just the ABS system working.
However, The fluid is low now with the warning light comming on after every stop. I have filled back to capacity and checked all calibers for leaks, none found, by the way i have SS brake lines. Although, upon further inspection I found fluid on the bottom of the manifold of the master. I could not find or verify and leak source! Question, does the ABS system have a blow off valve to release pressure under extreme braking conditions? Or, did she blow something out?

Michael
