Looks nice...and clean!

The humming sound coming from around the throttle body is most likely the idle air control solinoid/valve. I believe it's controlled by a PWM (palse width modulated) signal, and whose frequency is also within audiable range I think.

As for the coolant, mine appeared much the same way when I bought my '95 wagon used with 66k miles - perhaps I'll read the ECM for kicks! I've had almost 40k of good service so far, though I don't like the clatter at start-up on COLD days and now have a slight rear main seal leak. i also wound-up "upgrading" the brakes with semi metalic pads because towing lead to glazing of the rears.
