A series of unfortunate events 850 1994

While driving in city traffic today some of my dash lights flashed intermitently.
The service light, SRS light and the low fuel light would flash at the same time. The CEL was on as well as the ABS light I know what causes those but havent fixed them yet.
Driving home on the highway the transmission would not shift in to 4th and it would downshift at a higher rpm into 2nd gear and then upshift to 3d at an even higher rpm, around 4000. The CEL went off at the same time. The dashlights stopped flashing. It did that for about 10 miles and then shifted normally. The CEL stayed off,
I suspect a loose connection somewhere but have no idea where to start looking
Anybody have an y ideas?
