I have a 1995 855T with a bad tranny.
the 322 code, incorrect gear ratio, is the clue
When you get that code, the only solution is to replace the tranny or so I was told by the Volvo shop.
Mine won't go into reverse and any forward gear operates in limp home mode.
I changed the PNP switch and that didn't help. Fluid is dark and smells burnt.
If there is another solution, I would love to hear it
