Is my ignition switch or my pnp switch going bad, and or are both going bad? 850

It could easily be both. I would consider replacement of the ignition switch electricals and the PNP switch to be a preventative maintenance step on any 850 at 100k or more miles if they haven't already been replaced for failure. It is only a matter of time for those switches and it is much better to replace them in the comfort of your garage on a quiet Saturday afternoon than it is to have the car towed home from a New Year's Eve party :).
