Code 241, Sealed Intake System, Reset Computer 850

Hello friends,

This is an update on my continuing 241 code business. I ended up having to replace a couple of parts in the intake system, sealed up some leaks after running the smoke test, and it seemed to not leak anymore when we were through. I'm slightly unsure because we actually had to clamp a rubber hose fitting because after the new part was installed the rubber piece no longer fit as snugly as before. Not sure if I should replace it too?

At any rate, I'm about 85% sure that there are no leaks in the system, and if there are they are not huge gaping ones. I am still getting the check engine light when I launch from 0mph, during higher RPM's, hills, etc.

So, following Klaus' advice, i checked out the intake system and I thank you for that because it was leaking like a sive. I'm not sure where to go from here - do you think EGR valve or regulator? I'm basically at a point where it looks like my only step is to take it back to the mechanic and say "Ok, so what's next?"
