Those super bright H7 bulbs -- reliable or not? V70-XC70

I'm thinking of getting a set of those super bright white H7 Halogen bulbs. However I've heard some complaints that these don't last anywhere as long of the OEM bulbs do.

I have the daytime running lights setting so I will go through bulbs quicker than most. I wonder if any V70 owners have found good longevity with PIAA or Sylvania or other H7 replacement bulbs?
