V70; my first lemon V70-XC70 1999

My V 70 is a pleasure to drive and painful to own. At 136K I have had it a year and it has needed a new ETM (Electronic throttle module $1200) an ABS ($800 ) an air mass sensor $200, problems with power windows that $400 and three auto electricians can't agree on, and a "check engine" light that comes on all the time. The hood needs two people to open it, and the climate control sensor which measures temp is blown and hard to get to so I sweat and freeze depending on its mood.
The V 70 is an over-engineerred Volvo disaster.
