rear suspension question............. 850 1996

My parents 850 is making a noise (from what appears to be the rear passenger shock tower) when someone is sitting in the rear (passenger side) seat while the car is in motion-though only when going over uneven road. I should state, before I go any further, that the 850 has Bilsteins all the way around, with TME lowering springs and 17" wheels. The sound does not appear when the rear seat is devoid of passengers, not does it appear when I press down on the car (in the general vicinity of the shock tower). I made sure that the 17" spare was held in place tightly, and that nothing else was in the trunk that could be causing the noise. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be most greatly appreciated. Danke :)
