Have you checked the codes in A1 and A2? When you replaced the starter, did you have to unplug any wires close to the steering column? The PNP switch is under the air cleaner box and looks like it sits on top of the steering box. Bay13 has great pics.
Recheck your electrical connections, making sure they are tight, especially around the starter area.
BTW, PNP is short hand for Park Neutral Position switch. If it becomes dislodged or moved, the TCU will not recognize that the gear selector is in park or neutral. Codes will be set.
