Fron End Noise 850 1993

I have a noise (chatter, hum, vibration) that comes from the front end. It increases with vehicle speed and is most noticeable at speeds above 40 mph. It is not effected by engine speed. I changed the tires (regular to snow) with no effect.
Could this be a wheel bearing problem? Dirve train?
