850 replacement 850 1997

Disclaimer: we have two Honda trucks, one car, lawnmower, tractor and garden tiller, and some shares of Honda Motor Co., Ltd. stock.

I was driving my kid's '06 Accord Coupe today (last car in the driveway). I previously had a TSX and I actually like the Accords better, there is a lot of form-follows-function Bauhaus-type minimalist design stuff in them. The seats are definitely firmer than the Volvo but there is more side bolster support. I'm also sure Honda had a bunch of 850s cut up into little pieces when they designed the current Accord -- the seat-heater switches are in exactly the same location. Also, you need not remove he entire dash to get to the evaporator, heater core and blower motor. They actually thought this stuff through -- unlike Volvo's engineers. In terms of materials, it's all Sears Roebuck not Saks Fifth Avenue, but so is the price.

My kid's Accord has more airbags than my Volvo. I'm 6'3" and there is plenty of headroom, even with the sunroof.
