850 replacement 850 1997

" Ron, I can understand your desire to resist japanese like toyota or honda, but they are reliable - on the other hand the s60 would be much more fun"

Hmmm, when I was replacing my 850 I test drove the S60, Honda Accord and Acura TSX as well as a bunch of other cars. The S60 ride and handling seem primitive compared to the Honda or Acura IMO. A six speed TSX is a VERY fun to drive car.

I guess if you get an S60R with the high pressure turbo you can have fun playing the turbo-lag wait-wait-woosh game, but it is primitive.

Volvo has let the S60 and V70 get very long of tooth while at the same time nickel and dime cost reducing them.
