97 850 won't start - ideas? Suggestions? 850 1997

I have a 97 850 with 160k that has been very loyal - until this morning. It would not start after running fine yesterday. I have spark, the fuel pump fuse is fine, and now I'm crawling into the trunk to try and test the fuel pump. Any ideas on the best way to test the pump? A better way to check for fuel? Something else I should be looking for?
