Bad fuel pump? S40-V40

what's funny is that immobilizers are my bread and butter.

I actually did check the voltages across the 4 terminals in the harness side connector. yellow, black, blue, and yellow w/ black stripe. the yellow wire had 5 volts across all of the other wires. Black to yellow w/ balck stripe was 0.117 volts and everything else was ground. gonna assume that yellow is power and black is ground. the fuel pump probably isn't on a network like CAN but instead PWM. Are the other lines a sensor/feedback of some type? They wouldn't all be ground would they?

I will try to bring home a power supply tomorrow and apply 5 volts across the fuel pump to see if it works. Since I am starting to think that this is the issue. Does anyone know how many amps the pumps pull?
