99 v70 CC wagon dash lights replacement? V70-XC70 1999

recently bought a 99 cross country wagon,like it so far,how ever the srea in the dash where the clock and messages are displayed does not light up at night,is this normal,if not are the bulbs replaceable,i think there is a couple out in the instrument cluster,it does not look as bright as i think it should be.any tips on what and how to get it apart. thanks Harvey b
