P0300 and P0301 V70-XC70

I finally got my OBDII scanner working. The only code I could pull from the computer was O0300. I then reset the CEL (nice to have this capability finally!)

However, when I started the engine back up it stalled. I started it again and it ran rough as it had done before. I checked the code again and I got a P0301 this time.

I know this means cylinder #1 is misfiring. I know the ignition module is getting 12v on the red wire. Is there any way to check the signals on the other two wires? I'm wondering what the best way is to troubleshoot this misfire?

Thanks,

RGW
