Your local shop couldn't get the electrical connector apart? And then they just cut the wires and reconnected them? They broke your car! If they are that bad, how do you know which wire goes where????? Typically, a little sand/dirt gets in the connector which makes it a little difficult to get it apart, but a pair of pliers works wonders.
Cut the wires... wow!

I wonder what else those gorillas touched.
