Sources in USA for replacement key fobs? V70-XC70

I called two independent repair shops, and they both confirmed that their computer interface can NOT program the remotes. Therefore, I think I am stuck going to the dealer. After 8 years, even the buttons on the inner circuit board are not responding well. It suggests that buying a used fob and switching electronics is a temporary fix at best. Plus, you have to consider that used fobs are also probably 6 or so years old = brittle plastic.
