S70 dashboard noise--hot & cold

Hi,

I've checked the archives and I can't find an answer.

The firewall bolts are tight. The anchors aren't broken.

The noise doesn't occur until the duct to the RH panel vent warms up. The duct seems to be rivited to the dash frame and the difference in temp seems to be causing the problem.

With the glove box out I can recreate the noise by pushing on the duct--but only if it is warm. At outside temp the dash is completely quiet.

Any solutions?
