850 PNP switch 850 1996

Let's change the PNP switch today i thought to myself - cant be that bad - and it doesnt seem to be EXCEPT i still cant get the old switch portion of the multiplug out of the holder (that the large ECU style plug fits onto)

Bay 13 says stick a small screwdriver somewhere in the plug and it all comes apart............not for me it doesnt!! The PNP switch part of the multiplug does move - im obviously not disengaging it from the rest of the multiplug properly....Help!!
