How to orient polyurethane engine mount bushing 850 1995

What you say makes sense. I guess I was thrown off by the fact they printed an arrow on there. The OEM has an arrow and it points "up". Of course, the design is completely different. In thinking about the construction of the new one, the orientation probably doesn't matter (other than in one direction the two halves will sheer with little force). The OEM has that web, and an engineer would probably show on paper how the damping is measurably different based on direction. I think you are right - the aftermarket has the eccentricity to aid installation. Thanks for the replies. Don
