Bad design by Volvo 850

It's not that Volvo decided to use torx heads instead of hex nuts, it's the rusty cheap metals they used. Yes, PBblaster would have helped, but the metal was already gone at this point.
Grind off the other end and and get 4 NEW bolts when putting it back together. If you take it to your shop, it will be out of your hands and you will not have any say so about quality control.
