XC90 or X5? XC90 2003

Hi! I've just purchased XC90 '03 for my daddy. Having compared with X5 I drove I would NEVER bought XC90 for myself. Overall the XC90 is very friendly, but the powertrain is terrible in my opinion. The car has the poor 2.5T engine, absolutely unpredictable automatic transmission which tends to be broken and replaced by 80-90K miles. The T6 version is better in its engine, but much worse in its GM 4 speed transmission which is even less reliable than for 2.5T version.

I would buy X5.
