Foam in oil HELP! V70-XC70 1999

Hey Guys,

I have a 99 v70 fwd with about 77k miles. I bought the car several months ago and have put about 6000 miles on it, so I'm still getting to know the car, so to speak.
I just checked the oil and found what looked like a light brown foamy substance
in the oil cap. I changed the oil myself about 2000 miles ago, using Mobil 1
and a mann filter. My first thought was "head gasket," but the coolant level
has never dropped. The oil level seems higher than I remember it being, but I
could be wrong. Recently, the car's only been driven for very short local
trips (about 1.5 miles at a go) and I was wondering if this could be just
moisture building up, since the engine never gets to full temp.

If anyone could throw me some ideas, I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks

Chris
