may test drive 98 T5 V70-XC70

This year (maybe sooner than later) I will retire my trusty 245.

A local dealership (used cars but they specialize in Volvos) has a 1998 V70 T5 with a 5 speed manual.

It has 84K miles and they sent the ABS control unit out for rebuild, timing belt was done.

Looks like a pretty nice car.

Anyone care to comment on the 98 model?

Seems like I have read here that was a good year.

I really like the idea of a 5 speed.

Things to watch out for on a 98 or the V70/850 in general? (I have read about the AC and rear seals, this car was in Arkansas then California)

Thanks

Mike
