850 - Engine pushing oil out valve cover filler cap 850 1993

HI, I picked up a used 1993 850 GLT sedan. I have been having a problem with motor oil pushing out the filler cap. I changed the cap o-ring to no avail. It appears that I must either have a crankcase pressurization problem or blowby. The car does not smoke at all and only has 120K on it. So my question is, there has to be a crankcase vent somewhere. My suspicion is that it is plugged and not relieving the pressure. Can someone tell me if my suspicions are correct and if so, where the vent is. Is there a trap which needs periodic cleaning or replacement to prevent this problem? Please advise. Thanks.
