S80 Fault Code 42 S80

Good afternoon, I have a 1990 S80 that was running fine up until last week. The check engine light came on and the car starting missing like it a cylinder wasn't firing.
The Fault window read: Emmission Control System needs service. I pushed the button to get the fault code, and it came up 42.

Does anyone know what Fault Code 42 is?
