I have about 175k on my '95 854T. The few nicks I have had generally do not rust. I do have one very small bubble forming on my hood, which was repainted at some point. In general the paint is in outstanding conditon.

I wanted to comment on the heated seats, which have been mentioned. I have had cars both with and without heated seats. My 850 came from the South, and the tradeoff for not having heated seats was the original owner tinted the windows. The leather in my car is in excellent condition. Back to the heated seats - I personally do not miss them. Maybe it is because I park my car inside, but the 5 cylinder heats up fairly quickly, and my butt seems to heat the seat just fine. My .02.
