Memory mirrors forgetful V70-XC70 2004

Does anyone experience problems with the memory function for the rear view mirrors? My wife usually drives our V70 and is number 1 on the memory buttons on the drivers seat. When I drive the car and press 2 the seat and mirrors move to my setting. But, when I lock the car and return (using my key) the seat remains in my number 2 position but the mirrors revert back to the number 1 seat setting ie my wife's setting. This happens about 25% of the time. My dealer, which I feel does a great job for us, can not solve the problem. They have replaced the driver's side mirror, my remote and updated software. This has occurred since we drove the car off the lot in 2003. Warranty is running low...
Any thoughts?
