Thanks Klausc for the quick reply to my earlier post. I attempted to drian the oil from the angle gear. It does not appear that there was much lefy as very little came out. I filled the case with fresh oil fom Volvo. Everything appears to be as normal. No grinding or any type of noise for that matter. No play in either drive shaft. The car is running great. My question is, how do I know if the angle gear is bad. Will there be obvious signs. Maybe I was lucky this time?
