850T pros and cons 850

Hi fellow volvo motorheads - over the past few years I've owned four 240's and although I'm pleased with my current 240 ('89), she just doesn't want to move all that fast so I've really been considering getting a 850 turbo. I'm quite familiar with the 240 but know close to nothing about the 850 (or turbos for that matter). What are the pros and cons of the 850 turbo? I welcome any and all words of wisdom!
