cruise control update S70

tried all the helpful suggestions from fellow brickboarders. Finnally bit the big bullet and went to the dealer. Paid for some diagnostic time, their VIDA
device indicated a bad cruise control relay, and an intermittent vacuum pump. Dealer wants silly money for new parts, so went to Erie Volvo in Whitesboro, NY bought a used relay for 1/4 the price of the dealer. Cruise functioned for all of 1/2 hour, then non-functional again, so I'm back where I was..Going to replace the pump next, and re-check a few things. Erie Volvo offers a lifetime replacement on parts, even electrical, and ship anywhere, with reasonable prices, and over 800 post 1990 Volvos to pick parts off of...Dreaming of cruising....
