V70 Warning Light V70-XC70 2004

I bought a 2004 V70 about a year ago -- and what a surprise. I've had about 4 Volvos and my mechanic and i could do most anything but no more.

The latest is the triangle warning light. It's yellow to say there's a problem and take to dealer (red means stop immediately).

On my 1995 940 I could reset lights by removing the battery cable for a few minutes, but I understand that I have to take this heap to the dealer for repair and light reset.

Unfortunately, this looks to be the end of my love affair with Volvo, since the closest dealer is about 120 miles.

Would appreciate any advice on the light. Best to get rid of it right now (32,000 miles) or drive it several thousand like my other ones?

Thanks,

Steve in Marietta, OH
