Welcome to the new computerized world. Unfortunately, you also need a computer to read the onboard diagnostics. Autozone will read and delete any stored codes for free. Please say thank you :)

Your car will go another 100K, but you will either have to buy an OBDII reader or have a mechanic work on it, or both. Newer Volvos will talk to you when the light comes on, but they won't tell you what is wrong!!!! Or how to fix it.
