Trunk Strut Bracket broke off!!! 850 1995

the hinge .. is actually in the cabin of the car.. you have to remove the back ledge trim carefully (where the rear speakers are located)... and then loosen the bolt that holds it.

edit: after reading what your saying i realize your commenting about the actual connection to the clawfoot of the strut has broken off.. the only way to get to it would be by dropping the back seat and removing the the remaining piece on the back seat. the corner part just pops off by pulling it forward and then up.

Thats about the most space you can get to work on it without cutting into the sheet metal.
